by admin on November 27, 2011

In this video taken from a small seaplane, that took off near Candlewood Isle and flew in various directions to try and give the viewer an idea of how large Candlewood Lake is. The four largest lakes in Connecticut are; Lake Waramaug  with 656 acres, then  Bantam Lake with 947 acres, followed by  Lake Lillinonah with 1,547 acres and then number one spot going to Candlewood Lake with 5,064 acres and over 60 miles of shoreline.
